The best second hand in Copenhagen 2024

Copenhagen is amazing for shopping second hand clothes and home decor. I love going to the stores run by different churches, this is where I usually can make the best finds for less money, but I’ve also listed my favourite stores with curated Scandinavian fashion for those who don’t like thrifting. There are also a bunch of stores around Copenhagen that buy in bulk, I’m not a big fan of those because I find them boring and/or too pricey, so they are not listed here.

Hope it’s helpful, and if it is, find me on Instagram!

Amager

Folkekirkgens Nødhjælp, Amagerbrogade 31, open Monday - Saturday.

Second hand clothes for both men and women and some home decor.

Kofoeds skole second hand bazaar, Nyrnberggade 1, open Wednesday - Saturday.

This is a bit of a hidden gem, unless you live in the area you’ve probably not been here. Very tidy, sells clothes for both men and women, furniture, home decor, remakes, and locally produced honey and other foods from their social activities.

Kabomani, Amagerbrogade 48, open everyday 11-18.

One of the reasons to why I fell in love with Amager, no joke. I have both sold and bought a lot of great pieces here. You’ll find Scandinavian fashion brands such as Stine Goya, Ganni, Second Female etc. The have a big shoe section, and they recently opened up a second store in Frederiksberg.

KBH Deluxe, Amagerbrogade 5, open Mon - Fri, but double check their Insta before going.

As the name says, this is more of a luxury second hand store selling high-end brands, but they also, obviously, have some great Scandi fashion clothes.

Frelsens Hærs Genbrug, Hørhusvej 5, open Tuesday - Friday + 1st Saturday/month.

This is a big second hand store that sells furniture, clothes, kitchenware, fabrics, art, books… You name it. I love this store and try to go every week, and as I sew a lot of clothes, I’m always excited to see what’s in the fabric section.

Røde Kors, Amagerbrogade 139, staffed Monday - Friday

This red cross is a good one for home decor, frames, lamps, candle holders and that kind of stuff. They also sell clothes, but I’ve never really found anything too exciting clothing wise.

Christianshavn

Danchurch, Torvegage 53, Monday - Friday

I love stopping by this cute little store that keeps on giving. Every now and then I find really nice stuff here. They also sell cute knitted blankets and candles they’ve made.

Indre By

Blå Kors Genbrug, Borgergade 27, open Monday - Saturday

I love this store – There’s a great selection of Scandinavian brands but also some weird and fun older clothes. They also have a home section that can have some hidden gems.

O.S.V Second Hand, Peder Hvitfeldts Stræde 4, open everday

One of the best second hand stores for a Scandi brand lover. Curated after the stores profile, and even though I think it was better some time ago (not a big fan of the Millenial fashion trend happening right now) they always have a fun selection of shoes, accessories and amazing clothes – both for men and women!

Østerbro

Lidkøb, Strynøgade 7, open everyday

If you wanna spend a lot of time in a juicy second hand store selling everything from fancy and expensive brands to weird home decor stuff, Lidkøb is the place to be. Honestly, it’s so good.

Røde Kors, Nordre Frihavnshade 45, Monday - Friday

A small Red Cross store that sells clothes. Prices are honestly a little higher than necessary sometimes, but I think it’s because it’s Østerbro. I’ve found some nice stuff here.

Danmission, Øster Farimagsgade 30, Monday - Friday

This one is a little messy but cute. Usually good for cute glass plates and fun paintings.

Nørrebro

Tú a tú Second hand, Jægersborggade 30, open everyday

A super small and super nice second hand store selling some selected pieces from Copenhagen girlies. They also stock some newly produced hairclips and accessories.

Fremtiden, Nørrebrogade 40, random opening hours, check their Instagram

This store is part of the Red Cross and is targeted towards a younger market. Less stuff, more curated, and often a fun mix of funky vintage and cute staples.

Røde Kors Megastore, Fælledvej 4, Monday - Saturday

This is a big 3 stories second hand store with everything from furniture to art to clothes to everything. Quite popular and often a lot of customers. The clothes can be found on the top floor and they cater to everyone.

Hello Good Buy, Elmegade 18, Open everyday

This is a small little store in a block with lots of second hand stores. I like this one because it’s very organized and they sell quite a lot of fun and cute clothes that hang neatly and are colour coordinated. Who doesn’t like that.

As mentioned, there’s a lot of great second hand and these are only a few stores.

Hope you like them!
